opportunity to see some of the many sites the area has
to offer, as well as the freedom to move around for such
things as grocery stores, banks, and shopping for
souvenirs. Please let us know if you require a vehicle
and we will book one for you at our discounted prices.

The
weather in Canada is very unpredictable. Warm clothing
is a must. You will need to bring parkas and bibs in
camouflage, warm boots and waders for duck hunting. You
will be responsible for your gun, clothing, hunting
licenses, personal hygiene products, bird cleaning
costs, and gratuity.

All licenses will be purchased by you upon arrival.
These costs are separate from the hunt.
The
cost for the 2009 licenses is $147.20 each.

Air Travel
●
Airlines
restrictions limit 11 lbs or 3 boxes of shotgun shells
to be transported on most airplanes. Please check with
your airlines regarding transportation of firearms and
ammunition. Shells are available at lodge for purchase.

Transporting Your Birds
to the US
●
All migratory birds imported into the US
via Canada must have 1 fully feathered wing attached to
the carcass.
All imports into the US can only be
imported by the person who hunted them. A hunter cannot
give the birds to another person to take into the US on
their behalf.
Any mounted birds can only be imported in
the US when accompanied by a US migratory bird
import/export permit. This may have to be applied for in
advance.
No other types or forms of migratory
birds will be allowed into the US
All illegal birds and/or meat will be
seized and charges will be laid.
